My wife's computer is located in our family room. I was able to connect the 50ft vga cable I purchased from her computer to our tv. We can now watch movies, clips, videos using her computer. The only difference is the sound comes from the computer speakers and not the tv. But you get use to it and it does its purpose of providing video to our tv set while we relax on our funiture.

I bought this cord for my classroom about a year ago and it has been great! I used this to connect my laptop to my projector. This is a heavy duty well made cord! The price was great too! I use the projector almost daily. The picture on the projector is great. I just wonder how they can sell something so good so cheap. If you need a really long monitor cable get this one!

This cable is currently hooked up to a KVM switch running to a 26" 1080p LCD TV and the image quality is great, considering I only paid $16 for it! I would recommend this cable to anyone, especially those on a budget, but still need a large length of SVGA cable.
