This little cable is the answer to bad speakers w/ an hdtv and a low budget regarding stereo systems. I took my sony pc speakers and subwoofer - added this little cable monster, and BAM. Good sound - modified. ;) live in an apartment, and don't need loud sound anyway - but can't go wrong with crisp pc speakers connected to a tv ;)

I use this to pull audio of my TV and into a very long 3.5mm cable with ear buds on the other end so I can watch TV while I ride, row or run indoors in the winter without blasting the volume through the whole house. Works perfectly.



If you are going for this set up keep in mind the volume adjustment problem that others have mentioned.
